Strength training, boxing, yoga, basketball, rock climbing, and more. I’m not picky as long as it gets you moving and sweating.

Personal Training

Over the past 15 years, I have found it imperative to keep informed on the different trends in the fitness industry. Although I am a firm believer in the tried and true evidence of traditional strength training and nutrition, there is always something more to be learned. I try my best to filter through the buzzwords and inform my clients on what really matters to make a lasting change. It’s usually a lot simpler than people expect.

Athletics

I am quite possibly one of the most competitive people you will meet. Fortunately for me (and those around me), I’ve always had sports as an outlet. From peewee football to five sports in high school and even some collegiate baseball, I have always been engaged in multiple sports year-round. As I grew beyond organized sports I found comfort in the weight room, competing against myself to accomplish new goals.

Education

After an early pursuit of a bachelor’s degree came to an unexpected end, I found success working exclusively as a personal trainer. After more than a decade out of school, I decided to continue my interest in higher education and I recently graduated from Pasadena City College with my associate’s degree in Kinesiology & Wellness. Currently, I am assessing what my next steps will be for my BA.

Certifications

Over the many years of working within the fitness industry, I have picked up quite a few skills along the way. I have completed countless seminars, workshops, trainings, and additional certifications. From being trained in specific pieces of equipment such as the TRX, Vipr, and Power Plate, to being certified as a Sports Nutrition Specialist and a Behavior Change Specialist. The thirst for knowledge and personal growth is never-ending!

Check out these Elite Joggers. These are comfy pants that you can wear to the gym for a good workout sesh, or you wear them around town as you run errands. There is a bit of unnecessary bulk in the pockets, especially with the zippers. And there’s some Born Tough branding that’s pretty cheesy, but overall they are a great lounging pair of pants, the material is soft and this color green one of my favorites. Give ‘em a try and check out some of the other Elite clothing options.
